Can I transfer email from Comcast to another provider?

Currently EasyChange can only transfer data to Comcast, not from Comcast. If you use an email address and password from any provider other than Comcast in step 2 on the start page, you'll receive an "invalid username and password" error.  

However, you can set up your Comcast account to automatically forward new messages to another account, which will work until your Comcast account is closed. Here are the steps to do so:

  1. Log into your old Xfinity email account.
  2. Click on Preferences.
  3. Click on Email.
  4. Click on Forwarding and add the account where you would like the emails to be forwarded.

You can also manually transfer your address book via CSV file. Click here for the steps to export your address book from your Comcast account, and then contact your new provider for instructions on how to import the CSV file into your new account.
