Can I migrate from a sub-account or secondary user?

We can migrate email for all the users on your source account to Comcast. However, address book migrations don’t always work for secondary users and may prevent the migration from starting. See the bottom of this page if you’re not sure what a secondary user or sub-account is.

If you’re entering the correct username and password on the start page for a secondary account and keep receiving an error message, leave the “Contacts” button in Step 3 unchecked, so that only the email will be migrated. Then click here for instructions on how to transfer your contacts manually via a CSV file.

How do you know if you’re a secondary user or sub-account?
Your main source account holder may be parent@provider.net, and your spouse or children each have their own email address, with their own login credentials. Each of those emails addresses is a sub-account or secondary user.
