Are contacts notified of my new email address?

We do support automatic contacts notification for most providers, as long as the option is properly selected in Step 3 on the start page. Check out our step-by-step walkthrough of migration setup.

If automatic contacts notification is not supported for your provider, or if you'd rather notify your address book manually, you can send a mass notification directly from your Comcast account. Once your address book is transferred to Comcast, follow these steps:

STEP 1 - Log into your Comcast account at the following link:

STEP 2 - Once you’re logged in, click the “Address Book” tab. 

STEP 3 - Click the checkbox under the search field located at the top of your email inbox. This will select all of your contacts at once. If you’d rather only send notifications to certain people, you can instead click the checkbox beside only those contacts.

STEP 4 - Directly beside the checkbox, there is an “Email” link, which will allow you to compose an email to all of the checked contacts. Note: You can only email 50 contacts at once, so if you have more than 50 contacts, you will have to perform all the steps a second time, only checking the contacts that didn’t receive a notification the first time.
